tethering

The arches remaining after pruning are now fixed along the first vineyard wire using a fine wire: One arch is stretched to the right of the vine, one to the left. This allows the young shoots growing from the arches to stretch upwards towards the sky. If necessary, the old vine is also tied to the supporting wooden vine to ensure sufficient stability.
During the tying-up period, we can already enjoy the first warming rays of sunshine in the vineyard, even though winter is still showing its harsh side in places.
