Single vineyard wines
Single vineyard wines by Stefan Pratsch stand out due to a special feature: “Lage” here not only stands for a specific vineyard, but also guarantees 20 years of biological cultivation of the estate’s own vineyards. This is emphasized by the stamp “ESTATE – SINGLE VINEYARD – LAGENWEIN” on the label. It is Stefan Pratsch’s claim to have the different characteristics of the soil reflected in the characteristics of the wine.
Grüner Veltliner
This is the taste of heaven on earth: Powerful, dense deep and fine-mineral! Loess, clay and humus-rich soil are the components that are the partners of perfection of the Grüner Veltliner on the Heiligenberg.-

Reserve
“Reserve wines are only produced in exceptional vintages” – this is the credo of Stefan Pratsch. Only fully ripe grapes with particularly high extract values make their way into the exclusively designed reserve bottle.
With the earth-connected series, the winemaker is also proving his skill in the sector “mash-fermented natural wines”.
Grüner Veltliner
Wines of Steinberg's own an impressive concentration and minerality - this gives them unique sophistication and an extended shelf life. This reserve comes from our mineral-rich layer and matures on gravel, (sand-lime) stone and clay.-

Sauvignon Blanc
In one of the highest positions in our region the Sauvignon ripens in airy vineyards with very limited yield. Thus, the foundation is laid for high-quality, ripe grapes that are developed in a French style and become complex wines with finesse and a rich finish.-

Sauvignon Blanc
Baron
Only the best vintage grapes from our best sites (Kittel, Erdpress, Hoferthal) are combined into a top-class cuvée after strict selection and aged in French wood for elegance.-

Erdverbunden
Earth, wind and sun let the organic grapes for this wine develop to perfection. After careful harvesting, we carefully rubbed them and fermented them spontaneously on the mash. After about 8 weeks the wine was pressed and stored in 500 liter acacia barrels.-
